New P90X iPhone app

Each week dozens of people stumble on this blog after searching Google for ‘P90X iPhone App’ and, each week dozens of people leave disappointed because, until now, I wasn’t aware of such an app. However, I just found out about a new P90X-dedicated app designed to help you lose weight on P90X. It’s called Eat Right 90 and it’s currently under development by Steven Romej. (Update - Mr. Romej has completed the app and it is now available for download at EatRight 90 - Nutrition log extreme fitness - Diet and exercise)

According to Mr. Romej, “Eat Right 90 is a nutrition log iPhone app that automates following and tracking your diet during extreme exercise programs such as P90X.”

The app will allow you to adjust for whatever level, phase, and day of P90X that you are currently at. You’ll also be able to view and edit your own eating history as well as get information on serving sizes for different foods.

Eat Right 90 is optimized for iPhone OS 3.0 or greater - cost is a very reasonable $1.99.

You can download or get more information on the Eat Right 90 P90X iPhone app at EatRight 90 - Nutrition log extreme fitness - Diet and exercise

If you end up trying this app out, please be sure to come back and leave your review of the app in the comments section.

This is a good app for tracking your daily intake. It is not a stand alone app. You definately need to use it with the p90x diet plan. It does not explain the plan, what a block is, or what makes up a block. It simply tracks how many blocks you consume, which is fine. I would have liked to see it have a little more data. Like if I am eating a 6 oz chicken breast, how many protein blocks is that? Or better yet, Today I had a chicken and vegitable bowl with brown rice from Tokyo Joes. It would be nice if the App told me how many blocks that was for each category. But I can figure it out on my own. It costs $1.99.

That sounds cool. If only I had a iPhone.

Are you a Beachbody Coach? I read a couple of your P90X posts and did not see anywhere saying that you were. If not, go to http://BeachBodyCoach.com/wrkoutjorney and click on Coach.
